As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a strong, confident Team Leader / Office Manager to become an extension of the Director, taking ownership of day-to-day team management and ensuring the office runs smoothly, efficiently, and with high standards - whether the Director is present or off site.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys leading people, creating structure and getting the best out of a team, but who is equally confident taking control, reprioritising workloads and restoring focus when needed.
The Role
This role sits at the heart of the business. You’ll be responsible for leading, supporting and motivating the team, while also ensuring the office and operations run like clockwork.
You won’t be micromanaging — instead, you’ll be delegating, coaching, organising and setting clear expectations, helping the team perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead, coach and motivate a small multi-function office team
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact and support for the team
- Delegate work effectively and ensure accountability
- Set clear priorities, monitor workloads and maintain high standards
- Handle escalations and support problem-solving where needed
- Support onboarding, training and ongoing development
Office Management
- Ensure the office is organised, professional and running efficiently
- Oversee office processes, systems and general administration
- Maintain a positive, productive and supportive working environment
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage office facilities where required
Operational Support
- Work closely with the Director to help implement processes and improvements
- Support customer service, sales and finance functions as required
- Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
- Ensure CRM and internal systems are being used consistently and correctly
HR & People Support
- Support recruitment, onboarding and induction processes
- Manage day-to-day people matters fairly, professionally and confidentially
- Maintain accurate employee records and support absence and holiday management
- Help implement company policies, performance reviews and development plans
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- Proven experience in a Team Leader, Office Manager or Senior Administrator role
- Strong people-management skills with confidence to lead from the front
- Excellent organisation and delegation skills
- A natural motivator who gets the best out of others
- Calm, professional and solutions-focused under pressure
- Confident communicator (written and verbal)
- Strong IT skills and experience using CRM systems
- Proactive mindset — you spot issues and fix them
- Full UK driving licence and own car
