We’re a small, busy solar and battery installation company looking for someone to help keep jobs moving from first enquiry through to completion.
This is a varied role. You’ll be involved in the customer side of the work from start to finish: keeping people updated, chasing what’s needed, putting data, products and pricing into the system, and making sure the paperwork gets done. That includes certification documents and the usual admin that comes with getting an install over the line.
There’s also some software work — we use Reonic, mainly for working out how many panels we can get on a roof and helping with quotes. It’s part of the job, not the whole thing.
Because we’re a small team, the work is mixed. One day you might be dealing with customers and job progress, the next you’ll be updating records, preparing documents or helping keep the pipeline organised. The point of the role is to stop jobs stalling and make sure customers don’t get left hanging.
Hours and pay
30–35 hours a week.
£15 an hour. We’ll review this after six months and look at an increase if you’re doing the job well.
What would help
Solar PV or battery storage industry experience would be useful, but it’s not essential. Same with any experience of working with electricity distribution networks. More important is that you’re organised, you follow things up, and you can deal with customers properly.
If you like a varied role in a small business and you’re good at keeping things on track, this should suit you.
Send your CV and a few lines about why you’d be a good fit.
