Qualified Dental Nurse
Job Overview
We are looking for a qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at our busy 6-surgery dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate dental nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and is looking to develop their career within a progressive practice.
We provide a wide range of treatments, including general dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics/ Invisalign, offering excellent opportunities to expand your skills and gain experience in advanced procedures. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in line with current infection control and health & safety regulations.
- Support clinicians during general dentistry, implant, orthodontic, and Invisalign treatments.
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment advice and reassurance.
- Maintain accurate patient records using digital practice management software.
- Assist with appointment coordination and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional clinical environment.
- Adhere to all cross-infection, safeguarding, and health & safety protocols.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with a recognised dental nursing qualification and current GDC registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a caring, patient-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills and confidence using digital patient record systems.
- Ability to work effectively within a busy, fast-paced team environment.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.
