Job Overview – Barista at Shake Stop
Shake Stop is on the lookout for energetic and friendly team members to join our fast-growing milkshake business. As a Barista at Shake Stop, you’ll be at the heart of our fun, high-energy environment, serving thick, indulgent milkshakes that keep customers coming back. If you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a close-knit team, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Craft a range of thick, spoon-worthy milkshakes and seasonal specials to a consistently high standard
- Keep the kiosk clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
- Support basic food prep and maintain top-tier hygiene standards
- Chat with customers, take accurate orders, and offer shake recommendations they’ll love
- Stay cool under pressure and manage time well during busy rushes
- Handle cash and card payments confidently and accurately
- Work closely with your teammates to keep the vibe positive and the service smooth
What We’re Looking For
- Previous customer service experience is great but not essential — we care more about your attitude and willingness to learn
- You’ll need to be confident with basic maths for handling payments and taking orders
- An understanding of food safety is a bonus (but we’ll provide training)
- You’re someone who communicates well, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and brings good energy to the team
