Job Summary
Position: Seasonal Apple Picker
Start Date: September 1st
Schedule: Monday – Friday.
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekend work!)
Location: Four Elms Fruit Farm, Nr Sidmouth, Devon.
Pay: Piece rate per box (Based on National Living Wage, with strong potential to earn more based on your motivation and harvesting efficiency)
About the Role
We are seeking energetic, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our harvesting team for the upcoming apple season. While full-time candidates (5 days/week) are prioritised, flexible options for fewer days are considered.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Physical Fitness: Ability to work outdoors comfortably while wearing a weighted picking bucket (worn on front).
- Care & Attention: Respect the produce by handling apples carefully to prevent bruising.
- Autonomy: Comfort working independently in outdoor, variable weather conditions.
- Punctuality: Reliable attendance during peak harvest hours.
