We’re looking for a passionate, hands-on Front of House Supervisor / Assistant General Manager to help lead our team at The Kings Head Inn — a busy, well-loved destination pub offering great food, quality drinks, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
With two fully stocked bars, a popular gastro restaurant, function space, and boutique bedrooms, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where no two days are the same.

The role
You’ll be the face of the business on shift — leading from the front, inspiring the team, and making sure every guest has a brilliant experience.
You’ll be:
- Delivering exceptional service that keeps customers coming back
- Leading, coaching, and motivating the front of house team
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, from opening to close
- Maintaining high standards across food, drink, and service
- Handling customer feedback with confidence and professionalism
- Supporting stock control, cellar management, and ordering
- Driving sales and helping maximise profitability
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a pub, bar, or restaurant leadership role
- A natural people person with confidence and charisma
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to stay calm and lead under pressure
- A hands-on approach and a real passion for hospitality
- Commercial awareness and understanding of running a venue
A personal licence is a bonus, but not essential.
