Hours: 07:30 – 15:45
Salary: £30,160 per annum

Due to continued growth and an ever expanding order book, we are looking for a Panel Saw Operative to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in operating cutting machinery who takes pride in producing high-quality, accurate work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Although prior experience is preferred, we would accept applicants with transferable skills as full training will be provided
Key Responsibilities
- Operating the panel saw to cut sheet materials (MDF, plywood, OSB etc.) to precise specifications.
- Reading and interpreting cutting lists, measurements, and technical drawings.
- Completing first-off checks and ensuring all components meet quality standards.
- Setting up, adjusting, and maintaining saw equipment safely and correctly.
- Ensuring efficient material usage and minimising waste.
- Working safely at all times, following company procedures and using required PPE.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating a panel saw or similar woodworking/cutting machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work with measurements.
- Good understanding of safe working practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Reliable, hard-working, and able to work as part of a team.
- Physically capable of handling sheet materials safely.
Pay: £14.50 per hour
