About the role:
Reporting to the: Regional Branch Manager
Manage, develop and guide the sales team towards shared objectives, ensuring the branch achieves its overall sales and margin targets as set by the Branch Manager and Sales Director.
Supporting the sales team and our customers, you will ensure that the current customer base is sustained, relationships maintained and developed, alongside expanding the customer base in line with sales objectives at the branch.
This role is Monday to Friday, 08:00– 17:00.
You’ll have a positive outlook that will help you thrive in the achievement of the following daily responsibilities: -

Develop, direct and motivate your sales team to achieve targets, key tasks and objectives
- Working with the Branch Manager & Sales Director to develop and implement plans to maximise sales in line with branch and group objectives
- Continuously analyse and report on sales, margin, customer turnover and promotional activity
- Develop positive relationships and optimise sales through key accounts and with key local executives of national accounts as specified by the Branch Manager/Sales Director.
- Provide ongoing immediate market information to all relevant Toolbank executives
- Enforce company policies, rules and guidance at all times
- Utilise the performance review practices within the business to support team members
What are we looking for?

A highly confident, dynamic, and self-motivated individual
- Excellent, effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven record of managing a successful team
- First class sales and negotiation skills with a proven record of success
- Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, with experience using CUBE functions and data analysis
- Ideally, we require the person to have previous experience of the tool industry and home improvement market
- Most importantly enjoy selling and being a supportive motivational manager
