This Role

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join our team to lead on health and safety across the business, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
This is a newly created role to support the ongoing fast-growth of the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Own and lead on company wide Health and Safety strategy
· Ensure full compliance with all UK Health and Safety legislation, maintaining up to date policies and procedures
· Develop and continuously improve health and safety systems and processes across the business including the office, warehouse, broadcast studios and offsite filming locations.
· Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify hazards and implement effective measures to minimise risk
· Take ownership of all incident reporting and investigation
· Lead and manage health and safety training in all areas, ensuring the team are trained and confident in safe working practices
· Build and maintain a robust training and competency framework
· Work closely with the operations teams to ensure safe use of machinery and automation systems with clear SOP’s in place
· Act as the primary point of contact for everything health and safety related, including external audits
· Stay up to date with regulatory changes and industry best practice, ensuring the business remains compliant
You’ll excel in this role if you have the following skills & experience:
· NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
· Experience in a health and safety management role in a fast paced environment
· Experience managing health and safety in a warehouse/manufacturing type environment
· Experience carrying out risk assessments and audits
· Commercially minded, with the ability to balance safety and operational efficiency
· Highly organised and detail oriented
· Comfortable working at pace in a fast growth business, with the ability to prioritise and adapt.
