Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move heavy items around the yard.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organization within the yard
- Maintain accurate records using warehouse for inventory control and tracking
- Assist with yard maintenance
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or yard environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the shift
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is desirable
- Strong attention to safety procedures, with a proactive approach to hazards and maintenance

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
