Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading accountancy firm who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager to join their growing team in Ipswich.
The Role
You will manage a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients, with responsibilities including:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact
- Delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services
- Overseeing workflow and ensuring assignments and deadlines are managed effectively
- Reviewing work and maintaining high standards of quality
- Working closely with Directors and Partners on technical matters
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior team members
- Contributing to revenue and profitability targets
- Supporting wider business development and client relationship activities
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CA Qualified or equivalent & strong previous senior-level experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Experience working with a diverse range of SME and owner-managed businesses
- Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership of client work
- Commercially aware with a proactive, client-focused approach
