You’ll provide high-quality operational support to our Front Office and wider business, ensuring accurate data in core systems, effective market/instrument trading capability, and prompt resolution of daily operational queries. You’ll also help identify control gaps and opportunities to simplify and strengthen our Middle Office framework—working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver a robust, client-focused operation.

In this role you’ll:

Provide business-as-usual operational support across all UK fund ranges and Institutional Business managed by Asset Management EU (AMEU).

Act as a key point of support for Fund Manager queries, including corporate actions, income/payments, fees, fund administration, trade queries, and reconciliations.

Partner with internal teams and external providers (e.g., custodian/middle office/back office) to investigate issues and drive timely resolution and escalation where required.

Support account and mandate transitions, including account openings, transfers, in-specie events, and fund realignments, coordinating across relevant parties.

Maintain high service standards for Front Office stakeholders, ensuring outputs meet regulatory, audit, and internal control expectations.

Identify operational weaknesses and improvement opportunities, including assessing tasks performed onshore vs offshore and recommending efficiency and simplification options.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Broad knowledge of investments with strong operational experience across trade lifecycle activities such as trade settlement, reconciliations, income events, and corporate actions. Asset Management experience would be desirable.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work confidently with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.

Experience working with third-party providers such as custodians, transfer agents, middle office providers, and fund accountants (desirable).

Good understanding of operational risk and controls, with a proactive approach to issue management, reporting, and escalation.

Comfortable working in a matrix organisation, balancing priorities while maintaining a high standard of delivery.

Good technology and process mindset; Bloomberg familiarity is desirable but not essential.
