Senior Chef / Kitchen Team Lead
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Chef / Kitchen Team Lead to join our small, busy kitchen at The Bakehouse Market in Findhorn.
This role would suit someone who loves cooking consistently great food and gets just as much satisfaction from helping run a calm, organised kitchen where people back each other and take pride in what they do.
You’ll work closely with our Kitchen Manager, leading the kitchen on their days off while supporting one another to continually strengthen the team.
This isn’t a traditional brigade kitchen. We’re a small independent organic bakery, shop, deli and kitchen with a collaborative team and a strong focus on handmade food, using organic and local ingredients wherever possible.

The role includes
- Leading the kitchen on the Kitchen Manager’s days off.
- Planning and coordinating daily prep and service.
- Maintaining consistently high standards of food quality, cleanliness and food safety.
- Contributing to menu development, recipe consistency, food costing and reducing waste.
- Supporting and developing the wider kitchen team.
- Improving the systems and communication that keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
