We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Hairdresser to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assisting senior stylists with daily hairdressing tasks such as colouring, cutting, styling, and finishing treatments
- Supporting the front desk team by welcoming clients, managing appointments, and handling enquiries
- Learning and performing specialised services
- Engaging with clients to ensure excellent customer service and personalised experiences
- Promoting retail products and upselling additional services to maximise client satisfaction and revenue
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workstations and salon environment
- Participating in mentoring sessions and training programmes to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge
- Assisting with store management duties as required, including stock organisation and inventory checks
Experience
- No prior professional experience necessary; however, a keen interest in hairdressing, beauty treatments, or related fields is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Customer service experience is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm for helping others is key
- Basic organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain a tidy workspace
- Willingness to learn new techniques such as barbering, eyelash extensions, or makeup application through training programmes
- Ability to work well within a team environment and follow instructions diligently
