About the role
As the Operational Design Team Leader, you will bridge the gap between complex and seamless operational delivery. You will lead a dedicated team of PV Designers to produce precision solar, battery, and EV charging designs tailored for major UK housebuilders. Your mission: drive quality, hit KPIs, and ensure our installation teams have the gold-standard blueprints they need to power the future.

Ultimately, you will ensure that every project under your supervision maintains total compliance with industry standards and specific project specifications.
While leading the team, you will remain hands-on by undertaking electrical design work for complex, non-standard projects such as flat roofs and advanced battery systems. You will be responsible for interpreting intricate design briefs to create precise 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other specialised PV software.
About you
You are highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. You have strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
You are an effective communicator who can build positive working relationships with colleagues, Installers and customers. You take a practical, problem-solving approach to challenges and are confident using systems to keep information accurate and up to date.
