Support Worker (Female) – Supported Living
Location: Malmesbury and other locations in Wiltshire
Hours: 24-hour shifts (including sleep-in)
Key Requirements (Essential)
- Female applicants only (in line with the person accessing support’s preference and care needs)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts including sleep-ins
- Must be able to reliably commute to Malmesbury and other areas in Wiltshire
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Experience in a support worker or similar care role
- Ability to work independently in a person-centred way
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Support Worker who can build trust, empower individuals, and inspire confidence in those they support.
This role involves working independently across supported living environments in the individual home of different females with additional needs. You will provide person-centred support that promotes safety, wellbeing, independence, and choice.
You will play a key role in enabling each person to live a life of their choosing, following their individual support plans and Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Support with daily living activities and household management
- Encourage participation in community activities such as shopping, cafés, and leisure outings
- Promote health, wellbeing, and a balanced lifestyle
- Support the individual to make informed choices, respecting dignity, equality, and capacity
- Follow and implement person-centred support plans and PBSPs
- Work independently while maintaining high standards of care
