We are seeking a skilled General Operative to assist with the daily operations of our Assembly facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fitting: Supporting the fitting Teams with building Sub Assemblies, prepping sticker kits etc
- Material Handling: Moving materials and components to and from workstations, potentially using forklifts or other machinery.
- Quality Control: Performing basic checks on components and assembled kits to ensure they meet standards.
- Workplace Organization: Keeping the work area clean and organized, and reporting any safety hazards.
- Machine Operation: In some cases, operating machinery to prepare components for kitting.
- Documentation: Potentially completing paperwork related to kitting and material movement.
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in using forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Previous experience in kitting and goods in
- Be capable of working on own initiative and be forthcoming with efficiency solutions
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £28,080.00 per year
