Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and speed
- Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders efficiently and providing excellent service to foster loyalty
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling fresh focaccia sandwiches or toasties when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas throughout your shift
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying the manager of stock needs
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar serving role, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene and cleanliness
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising quality
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
- Basic food preparation skills to assist with light kitchen tasks when required
