Based in an attractive location in the South West near Salisbury. Our experienced, professional and friendly small team provide a unique and bespoke approach and our tailored marketing strategies help clients achieve the best price possible for their property.
We are seeking an administrative assistant with a view to becoming a trainee negotiator to join our small Team. This role would suit someone who aspires to becoming an Estate Agent. The ideal candidate may have some previous work experience and will be familiar with the general principles of buying and selling property. They will be keen to learn and quick to adapt
The amount and type of responsibility and training provided will reflect existing knowledge and previous experience. You will be joining a respected office with a strong local and regional reputation and a collaborative team culture.
From 16 hours to 40 hours per week. Some flexibility over hours is possible.
Basic Salary will be based on age and experience

Training for this role will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Answering telephone, taking enquiries, recording information using our data base, assisting the existing sales negotiators with canvassing, production of sales particulars and sales progression, etc. Assisting senior administrative staff with promotional material and other tasks. The right candidate will receive training with a view to conducting property viewings.
- Use IT, organisation, planning and time management skills for the better performance of the Office
- Maintain accurate records of communications using property management software and in line with current legislation and training.
- Liasson with senior staff, clients, buyers, solicitors and third party suppliers as instructed
Qualifications
- Educated to at least GCSE Grade 5 English and Grade 4 Maths
- Administrative experience an advantage
- Friendly and approachable with good people skills and able to work independently or collaboratively within a Team. Able to take instructions from senior staff.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly.
- Good IT skills.
- A valid driver's license an advantage. (Pool car may be available subject to age and driving experience)
- Experience with social media marketing or mapping software would be an advantage but training will be provided
- Work experience that demonstrates an ability to communicate with the general public would be advantageous
