At Demelza, our IT team helps colleagues across our hospices, community services, shops and support teams access the technology they need to deliver extraordinary care to extraordinary children and their families.
We're looking for a Senior IT Technician to join our friendly and committed IT team. You'll be a key escalation point for complex technical issues, helping keep our systems, devices, networks and cloud services secure, stable and reliable across Kent, South East London and East Sussex.
Working closely with the IT Infrastructure and Network Manager, you'll support the day-to-day Service Desk operation, provide advanced technical support, contribute to projects and service improvements, and help develop the wider IT team through coaching and knowledge sharing.
What we're looking for
You'll have experience in IT support, infrastructure or technical operations, with strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, telephony, servers, Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, Intune and endpoint management. You'll be a confident problem-solver who can communicate technical information clearly and deliver a high-quality service.
We're looking for someone who:
Enjoys solving complex technical problems
Supports and develops others
Remains calm and organised under pressure
Takes pride in delivering excellent service
Understands that IT is about people as much as technology
Wants to use their skills in a purpose-led organisation
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (or reliable transport arrangements) is required, as travel between Demelza sites is part of the role.
Why join Demelza?
Every role at Demelza helps us deliver care that doesn't back down for children and young people with serious or life-limiting conditions. In return, you'll join a supportive organisation that values wellbeing, development and meaningful work.
