We are looking for a skilled and experienced part time chef to join our team at our nursery in Erith. As the nursery chef, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children aged between 3 months to 5 years old, ensuring that all meals are in line with the school's dietary requirements.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 2:30pm
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children aged between 3 months to 5 years old
- Ensure all meals are in line with the nursery's dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
- Manage food inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the children
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience as a chef, preferably in a school or nursery setting
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for cooking and creating nutritious meals
