Haddenham Pharmacy is a thriving village pharmacy dedicated to proactively serving the local community. We pride ourselves on providing personalized healthcare and excellent customer service in a welcoming environment.
We are seeking a Driver who is motivated, enthusiastic and flexible to deliver prescriptions from Haddenham Pharmacy and surrounding areas for an average of 6 hours per week gradually increasing to 2.5 - 3 hours a day.
Hours of work will be:
Tuesday: 12.30pm – 2.30pm
Thursday: 12.30pm – 2.30pm
Friday: 12.30pm – 2.30pm
Hourly Rate: Will meet National Living Wage and will increase on completion of the NPA drivers course which is a requirement of the job.
Driving will involve GP surgeries to coordinate prescriptions and delivery of medicines to patient homes and offices/work premises within the protocols set.
You need to allow flexibility, especially initially if unfamiliar with the area.
You must be prompt, reliable, friendly and approachable. Being honest and trustworthy are important assets.
You will be required to complete a DBS check and be able to use technology to track deliveries. Training will be provided.
You will also need to provide flexible holiday cover as required, ensuring continuity of pharmacy services during periods of staff absence.
You must have your own transport (bike or car) and clean driving licence if driving.
You will be classed as self-employed and will need to submit a monthly invoice of your hours and mileage at the end of each month which will be paid by 5th working day of the following month.
