Hospitality Champion
Shake Shack is a modern day "roadside" burger stand serving deliciously classic burgers, fries, hot dogs, frozen custard, beer, wine, and more. With our fresh, simple, high-quality food at a great value, Shake Shack is a fun and lively community-gathering place unlike any other. As we experience tremendous growth, our leaders are the driving force to our continued success. We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Hospitality Champion who loves to serve!

As our Hospitality Champ, you’ll be the beacon of warmth, energy, and Shack-style hospitality that keeps guests coming back and teammates inspired. This role blends front-of-house leadership with an unstoppable passion for service, helping to shape a Shack where every visit feels personal and every guest leaves with a smile.

You live and breathe people-first service and believe a great experience can change someone’s day

You’ve got hustle, heart, and a sharp eye for what makes hospitality truly shine

You're confident leading a shift and coaching others, with or without the official title

You thrive in fast-paced environments and can roll with the rhythm of a busy service

Experience in hospitality or leadership is a plus, but passion and presence are what we value most

Availability: Saturday (8 hours shift – hours TBC)
Responsibilities:

Be the living, breathing embodiment of our hospitality culture—your energy sets the tone for the whole Shack.

Lead by example on the floor, coaching and inspiring the team to elevate every moment of the guest journey

Jump in wherever needed—greeting guests, resolving issues, celebrating great service in the moment

Collaborate with leaders to champion training, team development, and consistent hospitality standards

Keep a pulse on the Shack atmosphere: Is the vibe right? Is the music pumping? Are our guests smiling? You’ll know.

Spark team motivation and build camaraderie—after all, hospitality starts with how we treat one another

About Us
Beginning as a hotdog cart in New York City’s Madison Square Park, Shake Shack was created by Danny Meyer, Founder and CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group and best-selling author of Setting the Table. Shack Fans lined up daily, making the cart a resounding success, and donating all proceeds back to the park beautification efforts. A permanent stand was eventually built…and the rest is Shack history! With our roots in fine dining and giving back to the community, we are committed to high quality food served with a high level of hospitality.
