Optimised Cleaning Solutions is a growing cleaning business providing reliable, high-quality cleaning services to homes, offices and commercial properties.
We are looking for reliable, hardworking and self-motivated self-employed cleaners to work with us on cleaning jobs across London.
If you take pride in your work, have good attention to detail and enjoy leaving a property looking its best, we'd love to hear from you.
The role
Cleaning jobs may include:
- Domestic cleaning
- Regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning
- Office cleaning
- Commercial cleaning
- Deep cleaning
- End-of-tenancy cleaning
Each job will include clear information about the cleaning required. Depending on the type of service, you will be provided with a cleaning checklist covering the agreed areas and tasks.
Before & after photos
As part of our quality standards, you will be required to take before-and-after photos of the relevant areas for each completed job.
Photos must:
- Clearly show the relevant areas before cleaning
- Clearly show the completed areas after cleaning
- Be taken only where appropriate and without including customers or members of the public
- Never show personal documents, private information or anything unrelated to the cleaning job
- Be sent to Optimised Cleaning Solutions once the job has been completed
Self-employed opportunity
This is a self-employed opportunity and is not a PAYE employee position.
You will be responsible for managing your own:
- Income Tax
- National Insurance
- Self Assessment
- Tax reporting
- Business expenses and other responsibilities associated with being self-employed
Holiday pay and employee benefits are not provided, as this is a self-employed arrangement.

The actual working arrangement will be based on the terms agreed between you and Optimised Cleaning Solutions and the applicable employment-status rules.

- Comfortable working in customers' homes, offices and commercial properties
- Good at communicating
- Able to follow the requirements agreed for each cleaning job
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Able to provide clear before-and-after photos of completed work
- Able to travel to the locations where jobs are offered
UK requirement
You must currently be based in the UK.
We are not recruiting cleaners who are based overseas.
You must also have the legal right to work and carry out self-employed work in the UK.
