Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team! Duties
- Install new roofing systems using a variety of materials including asphalt shingles, metal, tiles, or flat roofing membranes
- Repair and replace damaged or aging roofs to extend their lifespan and improve performance
- Inspect roofs regularly to identify issues such as leaks, cracks, or structural damage
- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately to fit specific project requirements
- Use specialized tools and safety equipment to ensure safe work practices at heights and on rooftops
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate work schedules and meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean work site by properly disposing of debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar roofing installation or repair role
- Knowledge of different roofing materials, techniques, and safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights comfortably
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Certifications such as OSHA safety training or roofing-specific licenses are a plus but not mandatory
