Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Repair Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling to site carrying out repairs to various items to a high standard .This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong eye for detail and good communication skills to contribute to our organisation’s success. The Repair Technician will work within the housing industry , requiring adaptability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Duties
- following detailed lists from site agents .
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
- using a range of fillers and paints
- making sure company vehicle is road safe and stock is maintained
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding repair status and technical issues
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts utilised
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all tasks
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate repair schedules and minimise operational disruptions
Experience
- Proven experience in cosmetic repair, maintenance, or related technical roles is preferred
- Practical knowledge of construction painting techniques is advantageous but not essential
- Valid driving licence is essential.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for clear communication within the team and with clients
- Strong communication skills are essential for explaining technical issues clearly and effectively
- Prior experience working in environments requiring adherence to health and safety standards is beneficial
