About the Role
Mini Moos Day Nursery is looking for a friendly, reliable and well‑organised Kitchen Coordinator who can also support with cleaning duties to help keep our nursery clean, tidy and running smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing healthy meals for children and takes pride in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare nutritious snacks and meals following our menus
- Support children with dietary needs and allergies
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe and well organised
- Complete daily food safety checks and temperature records
- Manage stock, deliveries and simple ordering
- Carry out cleaning duties in nursery rooms, including:
- Wiping surfaces
- Emptying bins
- Sweeping and mopping
- Supporting staff with end‑of‑day tidy‑downs
- Work closely with the nursery team to ensure smooth mealtimes and a high‑standard environment
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, caring person who enjoys working in a childcare setting
- Good organisation and time‑management
- Food Hygiene Level 2 and Level 3 (full training provided)
- Someone who takes pride in cleanliness and high standards
- Experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is helpful but not essential
