The chef-owner of a rural country inn is seeking a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef who can ensure that the current high standards and reputation of this upmarket gastro pub are maintained. The kitchen has a team of three chefs who you will work with, ensuring a punctual and quality service. As well as the seasonally changing home-cooked pub classics with a modern twist menus, there are also regularly changing upmarket specials, all prepared with fresh ingredients that are locally sourced where possible. There is a 30 to 60-cover lunch and dinner service, bar snacks are available and small private functions are catered for.
Requirements:
- A CDP or junior sous chef who can show longevity working in a similar fresh food pub environment where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients
- The role needs a motivated chef who is able to work under pressure whilst maintaining excellent service and standards
- Own transport is essential
