Job Title: Class 1 Driver (Flatbed & Curtainside)

Salary: £45,000 plus per year + Monthly & Yearly Performance Bonus
About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our dedicated transport team. Working Monday to Friday, you will operate flatbed and curtainside vehicles to deliver goods safely, securely, and on time.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles (Flatbed and Curtainside) in full compliance with safety regulations and road laws.
- Load, unload, and properly secure cargo using straps, ratchets, and restraint systems.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection checks, reporting any maintenance requirements promptly.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and optimize fuel usage.
- Keep clean, accurate delivery documentation, tachograph records, and driver logs.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding delivery schedules or delays.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence with an up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Proven experience driving Class 1 vehicles, specifically with flatbed loads and load securing.
- Strong knowledge of UK driving regulations, tachograph rules, and load safety standards.
- Good physical fitness for handling load restraint equipment.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to representing the company professionally.
Salary & Package
- Base Salary: £45,000 Plus per annum
- Bonus: Yearly performance bonus
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday schedule
- Holidays: 32 days paid holiday per year
- Vehicle: Dedicated truck allocated to you
- Allowances: Meal allowance and Night Out allowance provided
