Job Summary
Join our caring team as a Care Assistant working 22 hours per week in a welcoming care home environment. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
- Support residents in maintaining their routines and engaging in social activities
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each resident’s specific needs
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Document care provided accurately using IT systems and care plan protocols
- Promote a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety standards
- Support home care visits when required, providing consistent and reliable assistance outside the care home setting
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Valid driving license is advantageous for supporting home care duties outside the facility
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
- Good understanding of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
