Job Purpose
To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across the Company's holiday accommodation, café and commercial facilities, ensuring guests and customers enjoy a welcoming, safe and clean environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out changeover cleans of the Woodland Cabin and three-bedroom Airbnb bungalow.
Prepare accommodation for incoming guests, including making beds and presenting rooms to a high standard.
Wash, dry, iron, fold and store bed linen, towels and other Company laundry.
Ensure adequate supplies of clean linen and guest consumables are available.
Clean and prepare hot tubs and tidy surrounding outdoor areas.
Carry out a weekly deep clean of the café kitchen.
Clean customer toilets serving the Commercial Lets and replenish consumables.
Report maintenance, damage or health and safety concerns promptly.
Travel between sites across the Chavenage Estate using your own vehicle (journeys typically around five minutes).
Work flexibly, including weekends, to meet accommodation changeover requirements.
Carry out any other reasonable housekeeping or cleaning duties requested by the Company.
Person Specification
Cleaning experience preferred.
Reliable, trustworthy and self-motivated.
Excellent attention to detail.
Friendly and professional manner.
Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Hours
Zero-hours contract. Typical hours during busy periods are expected to average 20–25 hours per week. Weekend work will be required.
Rate of Pay
Hourly rate dependent upon age, experience, skills and qualifications, and will always meet or exceed the applicable National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage.
