We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Warehouse Operative to join our growing team and support our online sales operations.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, attention to detail, and working with products that will be sold online. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming items, carrying out quality checks, scanning and recording products, and preparing stock for online listings and dispatch.
You’ll play an important part in ensuring that all products meet our quality standards before reaching customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and quality check products before they are listed or dispatched.
- Identify and separate items based on condition, category, and resale suitability.
- Scan, label, and process products using warehouse systems.
- Prepare items for online listings by ensuring products are clean, organised, and accurately recorded.
- Assist with photographing or staging products where required.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch online customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organised stock storage and ensure inventory is easy to locate.
- Record stock movements and report damaged or missing items.
- Support general warehouse duties including loading and unloading deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse, stockroom, retail, or e-commerce experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product quality issues.
- Comfortable using scanners, computers, or stock management systems.
- Organised and able to manage tasks efficiently.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to safely handle items of different sizes and weights.
Desirable
- Experience in quality control, stock processing, or online order fulfilment.
- Experience working with second-hand goods or e-commerce platforms.
- Forklift licence or warehouse equipment experience (preferred but not required).
