SLM Toyota Norwich is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving to join our busy workshop team.
As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, you will be working in a busy Toyota workshop environment, where you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing motor vehicles to the high standards of the Toyota brand. Previous main dealer and MOT licence is preferred.
Our Toyota Norwich Technicians work Monday to Saturday 7:30am to 6:30pm on a 4-day rota, with Sundays off and a 5-day break every 3 weeks.
What we’re looking for in a Vehicle Technician:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent (required)
- Experience in vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Main dealer experience and MOT licence (preferred)
- DBS certificate
- Full UK driving licence
- Team player with a customer-focused attitude
Key responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
- Carry out vehicle services and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and fix non-routine defects
- Carry out MOT tests
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and accurately
- Work collaboratively with the dealership team
