We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Proactive Sales Executive – Meetings & Events Agency Development to join the Sales team at Britannia Hotels Head Office.
Working across our nationwide portfolio of over 60 hotels, you will be responsible for developing agency partnerships, generating new business and increasing meetings and events revenue. This is a proactive role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, networking and identifying new commercial opportunities.

Your duties will include:
- Identifying, targeting and developing relationships with meeting, conference, event and venue-finding agencies.
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified agency contacts and new business opportunities.
- Securing preferred supplier agreements with key agency partners.
- Increasing market share within the agency sector across the Britannia Hotels portfolio.
- Developing long-term relationships through regular networking, client meetings and industry events.
- Promoting the Britannia Hotels meetings and events offering to agency partners across the UK.
- Working closely with hotel teams to maximise revenue opportunities from agency business.
- Negotiating commercial agreements and identifying opportunities to increase market share.
- Monitoring industry trends, competitor activity and emerging business opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate records using CRM systems and internal sales platforms.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous proactive hotel sales, meetings and events sales or business development experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) market.
- Experience working with venue-finding agencies, event agencies or conference organisers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive and commercially driven approach with the ability to generate new business.
- Confident networking and representing the business professionally.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider commercial team.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel nationwide.
