Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled Kitchen & Fitted Furniture Installer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be more than just an installer. You’ll play a key role in delivering premium projects while helping develop our apprentice and contributing to the continued growth of the business.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience installing kitchens and fitted furniture.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to demonstrate a portfolio of high-quality, premium standard installations.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to travel throughout the UK and stay away when required.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to mentor and train an apprentice.
Responsibilities
- Measure and interpret design plans to accurately install kitchen units and fitted furniture according to specifications.
- Fabricate custom components on-site or in workshops as needed, utilizing woodworking skills.
- Assemble furniture pieces using hand tools and power tools, ensuring secure and precise fittings.
- Install cabinetry, countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and electrical components following safety standards.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of materials and furniture parts safely and efficiently.
- Perform construction painting, masonry work and minor plumbing or electrical tasks when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace during each project phase; complete detailed installation reports upon completion.

Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and design plans accurately.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure quality finishes.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients professionally.
- Valid experience or certifications related to construction or trades are advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.

Pay: £36,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
