Dental Receptionist
Park Dental – Poole
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
Park Dental is a friendly, well-established dental practice in Poole, dedicated to providing outstanding patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and personable Dental Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. This role also involves supporting the clinical team by assisting with instrument decontamination duties when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice
- Managing appointment bookings and diary scheduling
- Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally
- Processing payments and handling administrative duties
- Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality
- Supporting the clinical team with general practice administration
- Assisting with the cleaning, sterilisation, and preparation of dental instruments in the decontamination room, following practice protocols and infection control procedures
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
About You
- Previous dental reception experience is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and well-presented
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Good computer and administrative skills
- Willingness to assist with instrument decontamination and support the wider practice team
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to providing exceptional patient care
