We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Protection Contracts Manager to oversee all aspects of fireproofing projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with specific expertise in fireproofing techniques, materials, and regulations. The Fire Protection Contracts Manager will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Manage all aspects of fireproofing projects including Fire Doors, from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to timelines and financial targets.
- Procure materials and equipment necessary for fireproofing projects, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Supervise and coordinate direct labour crews to execute fireproofing work efficiently and according to specifications.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays that arise during construction.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize project workflows and resource allocation.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Proven experience in construction project management, with a focus on fireproofing or related disciplines.
- In-depth knowledge of fireproofing techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with a commitment to safety and quality.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Professional certifications in construction management or fireproofing (Preferred).
