Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer / Construction Worker / Multi skilled tradesperson to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction and labour tasks on-site, supporting the smooth progress of projects. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Previous experience in construction is essential, although training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical skills within the construction industry.
Duties
- Varied duties based on previous experience
- Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day construction tasks.
- Moving and handling building materials, tools, and equipment.
- Preparing work areas and ensuring sites remain clean and organised.
- Carrying out general labouring duties to support ongoing projects.
- Operating basic hand and power tools safely.
- Assisting with demolition, strip-outs, installations, and finishing work where required.
- Following instructions from supervisors and working effectively as part of a team.
- Completing tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Skills
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures within a construction environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is required
- Valid UK driving licence is essential due to varying locations
