White House Dental is seeking a confident, organised and personable Dental Receptionist to become the face of our practice. For over 50 years, we’ve proudly served our community, providing trusted care in a warm and welcoming environment. This role is central to the patient experience — you’ll be the first smile they see when they arrive, the reassuring voice on the phone, and the key link between patients and our dental team.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in running the front desk smoothly, but also goes beyond reception duties to build strong patient relationships, follow up after treatments, and support patients in making the best decisions about their dental care.
What you’ll do:
- Be the first point of contact — greeting patients and setting the tone for their visit.
- Manage all front desk operations including scheduling, patient records, and insurance processing.
- Follow up with patients after treatment, ensuring they feel supported and cared for.
- Confidently discuss treatment options, answering questions and helping patients understand the value of their care.
- Play an active role in promoting and upselling treatments where appropriate.
- Process payments and handle billing enquiries with professionalism.
- Work closely with the dental team to ensure a seamless and positive patient journey.
- Managing Social Media
- Calling up patients to rebook appointments
- Administrative tasks for the practice
What we’re looking for:
- Someone who takes pride in being the face of a company and understands the importance of first impressions.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to put patients at ease.
- Good telephone manner
- Previous dental or medical reception experience preferred, but strong candidates from other customer-facing industries (hospitality, sales, retail) will also be considered.
- Highly organised, efficient, reliable, and eager to take on responsibility in the fast paced job
- Tech-savvy — experience with SOE Exact is a bonus, knows how to use social media (Instagram/TikTok/Facebook)
- A proactive attitude — someone who sees this as a role to grow in, not just a desk job.
