Job Summary
Window Fabricator
Responsibilities
- Assemble window frames and sash components accurately according to specifications
- Operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, and chisels to complete assembly tasks
- Use power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and assemble materials
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment to support efficient workflow
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling of delicate components
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during fabrication and warehouse activities
- Support inventory management by accurately recording parts used and stock levels
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with tools and machinery advantageous
- Basic use of hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work accurately under supervision
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Good physical stamina to stand, lift, and move materials throughout shifts
