Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, MCG Property Group is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality residential and commercial developments while driving project performance, commercial success, and client satisfaction.
THE ROLE
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial management and reporting across multiple projects
- Cost planning, budgeting, and financial control
- Procurement and management of sub-contractors and suppliers
- Valuations, variations, and final account negotiations
- Contract administration and risk management
- Programme monitoring and project performance reviews
- Client and stakeholder relationship management
- Leadership and support of site and project delivery teams
ABOUT YOU
- Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor or similar construction related qualification
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager, Senior QS, or Commercial Manager role
- Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge
- Experience managing residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Driven, organised, and focused on delivering results
- Full UK driving licence
