Job description
Are you enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about customer service? We're looking for a Food & Beverage Apprentice to join our Catering Team, helping deliver an excellent food and beverage experience for students, staff, visitors and conference guests.
About the Role
Working across our Oxford sites, you'll support a range of catering services, including:
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner service
- Café and licensed bar operations
- Conference and event catering
- Preparing and serving refreshments
- Setting up dining and meeting spaces
- Operating tills and handling customer transactions
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and customer care
What We're Looking For
You will:
- Have a genuine interest in hospitality and customer service
- Be friendly, professional and approachable
- Be punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Show enthusiasm, energy and a willingness to learn
- Enjoy working as part of a team
Working Hours
- 36.5 hours per week
- Five days out of seven, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Based mainly at Rewley House (Central Oxford) and occasionally at Ewert House (Summertown)
- 38 days holiday per year including bank holidays
