Experienced bench hand joiner
The role
We are currently looking for a qualified bench hand joiner with some machining experience.
You will be required to:
- be able to produce joinery items that conform to relevant drawings and cutting sheets
- Operate tools and machinery safely
- Work to a deadline
- Wear the correct safety gear
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4.30pm and Friday, 8am - 3.30pm. During busy periods, overtime is a necessity and all employees are requested to work. This is usually Monday to Thursday 4.45pm - 6.30pm and Saturday 8am - 12pm (time subject to change but still 4hrs)
Your background
To be a successful candidate you must meet the following criteria:
- Have a bench hand joinery qualification
- Able to work as a team and on your own
- Have experience working with laminates
- experience in manufacturing and assembly
- Ability to take accurate measurements
- Have a range of hand and battery tools
- Have manual handling knowledge
