About the Role

We welcome applications from candidates with no prior care experience. Those with experience may have previously worked as a Night Care Assistant, Home Carer, Care Worker, Health Care Assistant, Waking Night Support Worker, or Mental Health Care Worker.
Cascade are looking for full-time, enthusiastic Night Support Workers to join our growing team. Over the past year, Cascade have opened 2 residential homes in Norwich with scope to open more in the coming year. With Cascade’s ethos being at the centre of everything we do, we are looking for committed, like-minded individuals to join our team and continue to provide exceptional, person-centred care through the night. Key Responsibilities
- Night-time Care: Deliver person-centred care and support during the night in accordance with agreed standards and regulations (CQC/Ofsted where applicable).
- Monitoring & Safety: Conduct regular, non-intrusive safety checks on residents throughout the night to ensure their wellbeing and security.
- Evening & Morning Routine: Assist residents with evening settling routines and morning preparation, including breakfast and personal care where required.
- Behaviour Support: Provide a calming presence and support residents who may wake up distressed, managing behaviours that challenge effectively and safely.
- Domestic Duties: Undertake light household tasks during quieter hours (e.g., laundry, cleaning, and prepping for the next day) to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed digital night logs, incident reports, and contribute effectively to handover notes for the day team.

- Ability to work independently and maintain high alertness during night-time hours.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage behaviours that may challenge.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting residents’ rights.
- Willingness to work across different sites in the Norwich area if required.
- Training & Development
- Care Certificate to be completed within 12 weeks of employment.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
