We're looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and take ownership of day-to-day operations.
The Role
You'll be responsible for running a smooth, profitable, and welcoming service across lunch, and dinner. You'll lead the front of house team, work closely with the kitchen, and be the face of La Tapa Loca for guests and staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the front of house team across all shifts, including recruitment, rotas, and training
- Overseeing daily service to ensure a high standard of hospitality, food, and drink across lunch, and evening service.
- Managing labour costing, scheduling, and staff performance
- Working closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth communication and service flow
- Handling stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships for front of house and bar
- Monitoring and helping drive sales, covers, and profitability
- Ensuring full compliance with food safety, allergen, licensing, and health & safety standards
- Managing guest feedback and resolving issues with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Supporting private hire, events, and functions
- Reporting into ownership on performance, costs, and team matters
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant Manager ready to step up
- A genuine passion for food, wine, and hospitality, ideally with knowledge of Spanish or Mediterranean cuisine
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate a team
- Confident with rotas, labour costing, and day-to-day operational admin
- Calm, organised, and hands-on during busy service
- Excellent guest-facing communication skills
- Flexibility to work a mix of shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Right to work in the UK
