Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and professional Electrical Rewire Surveyor/Sales to join our dynamic team. This role involves conducting detailed surveys of electrical rewiring requirements, engaging with clients to promote our services, and securing new business opportunities. The role will come with a basic salary and a strong commission based bonus structure meaning every rewire sold will see an increase in salary.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong focus on customer service and organisational efficiency. You will play a vital part in expanding our client base while ensuring high standards of technical assessment and sales excellence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive surveys of properties to assess electrical rewiring needs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Engage with clients professionally to explain survey findings, recommend suitable solutions, and promote our electrical services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities through B2B sales channels.
- Negotiate terms and close sales effectively, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Manage appointments efficiently by scheduling surveys, follow-ups, and sales meetings using organisational tools.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, survey reports, and sales activities using IT systems.
- Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure customer requirements are met with appropriate solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, safety standards, and product knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or customer service within the electrical or related industry is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between client sites as required.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping, scheduling, and reporting purposes.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple appointments.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients through effective communication and professional conduct.
- Knowledge of electrical systems or previous experience as an electrical surveyor is advantageous but not essential.
