Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fish and chips counter Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the job and a desire to learn and grow. You will play a vital role in supporting the shop in meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to the overall success of our Take Away.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and serving customers at the counter
- Able to take orders and payments over the phone
- Help maintain a clean and organised environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Assist in training new staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff.
- Previous experience is an advantage but not essential.
