Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Ward Manager (RGN) to join a well-established private hospital in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Nurse or experienced Ward Sister/Charge Nurse looking to step into a leadership role within a busy, multi-specialty hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Ward Manager (Registered Nurse), you will:
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of nurses and healthcare staff
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective patient care
- Oversee staffing, rota management, and workforce planning
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards and clinical governance frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives
- Support staff development through training, mentorship, and appraisals
- Work collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams
- Manage ward performance, resources, and operational efficiency
Requirements
To be considered for this Ward Manager job in Nottingham, you must have:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
- Previous experience in a Ward Manager / Senior Nurse / Charge Nurse role
- Strong background in acute hospital or private healthcare settings
- Experience in team leadership, supervision, and staff management
- Knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance
- Experience with rota management and staffing (desirable)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
