Job Title: Workshop Manager – Holiday Décor & Seasonal Display Company
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Workshop Manager to lead and oversee the production of holiday décor, Christmas decorations, themed displays, and seasonal projects. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end production process, ensuring high-quality products and displays are delivered on schedule while maintaining operational efficiency and cost control. This role requires strong leadership, planning skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects during peak seasonal periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the production of Christmas décor, holiday displays, themed decorations, props, and custom seasonal projects.
- Develop and manage production schedules to ensure projects are completed within deadlines and seasonal timelines.
- Work closely with design, sales, procurement, and installation teams to ensure project requirements are executed accurately.
- Oversee the manufacturing and assembly process of holiday products including ornaments, decorative elements, display structures, and custom installations.
- Monitor product quality and ensure all items meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Manage production staff and workshop teams, including scheduling, training, performance management, and workflow coordination.
- Ensure efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
- Track inventory levels of production materials such as fabrics, lighting components, decorative materials, structures, and accessories.
- Resolve production challenges and adjust schedules when required to meet customer and seasonal demands.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Prepare production reports and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Support planning for large-scale seasonal projects and peak holiday production periods.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma or experience in Production Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in production management, preferably in holiday décor, event décor, visual merchandising, display manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of production planning, workflow management, and quality control.
- Experience managing workshop teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict seasonal deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production planning systems.
