About Performance Prizes
Performance Prizes is a growing UK prize competition brand focused on fitness, running, recovery, sport and performance products.
Our competitions feature products people in the fitness community genuinely want to win, from running watches and training equipment to recovery technology, footwear and premium fitness experiences.
We are now looking for an energetic and confident Fitness Content Creator and Brand Ambassador to become one of the recognisable faces of the brand.
The role
This is not a traditional office-based social media position.
You will regularly appear in our content, present products and competitions, create engaging short-form videos and represent Performance Prizes at selected fitness events.
We are looking for someone who already enjoys the fitness lifestyle and can communicate naturally on camera. You might be into running, HYROX, functional fitness, CrossFit-style training, strength training or general hybrid fitness.
You do not need hundreds of thousands of followers. Personality, reliability, creativity and genuine involvement in the fitness community are more important to us than follower count alone.
What you will be doing
Your work will include:
● Presenting short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and paid social advertisements
● Appearing in competition launches, product demonstrations and promotional campaigns
● Helping plan, film and develop original social media ideas
● Producing informal behind-the-scenes, training and event-day content
● Attending selected running, HYROX, fitness and community events as a representative of Performance Prizes
● Speaking with competitors, customers, winners and members of the fitness community
● Helping give the brand a consistent, energetic and recognisable social presence
● Working with our founders and marketing team to turn competition ideas into engaging videos
● Occasionally supporting live draws, winner announcements and other brand content
● Keeping up with relevant fitness, running and social media trends
The role may include a mixture of planned filming days, independent content creation, event attendance and flexible remote planning.
Who we are looking for
You should be:
● Genuinely interested in fitness, running, HYROX or hybrid training
● Comfortable and natural speaking directly to camera
● Confident meeting people and representing a growing brand
● Familiar with Instagram Reels, TikTok and other short-form video formats
● Able to film clear, engaging content using a smartphone or camera
● Creative enough to contribute ideas rather than waiting for a complete script
● Reliable, organised and comfortable working independently
● Willing to attend occasional evening or weekend events when agreed in advance
● Based within reasonable travelling distance of Macclesfield or the wider North West
● Aged 18 or over
Previous experience as a content creator, presenter, personal trainer, fitness coach, athlete, event host or brand ambassador would be helpful, but it is not essential.
An existing engaged social media following would be an advantage, although we are more interested in the quality of your content and how naturally you connect with a fitness audience.

The introduction video does not need to be professionally edited. We simply want to see how naturally you communicate on camera.

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Manchester (Greater Manchester)
